Who am I?

Art is a medium to express your inner self. It speaks what words cannot say. It starts from truth and goes beyond imagination. It is real as well as abstract. It is logical but hypothetical. Above all it is a creation.

As a child, I used to be busy in my own colorful world, trying to transform my inner instinct onto the paper using colors and forms as the medium of expression. At that time, I did not even know the meaning of term “Art”. I always dreamt of becoming an engineer but never knew that there is some unknown force which is dragging me deep into my soul where Art was taking birth.

Being a mathematics student, which is a conceptual subject, I was always keen to create something ….something that has meaning but is abstract, unknown, different, that expresses me , my inner self, my thoughts, my experiences and all what I can not say. Over and above something that gives pleasure to me and everyone around me.

Eventually, with family support, I stepped into the world of art by opting a professional course in fine arts at undergraduate level where my teachers not only helped me to develop and refine my skills but also guided to the core or the essence of art. They made me aware of what actually art is.

It was the beginning of what I always wanted to do but never dreamt of….yes becoming an artist…!!!

Art -n- Life

Art is an expression of inner feelings… expressions that come from within the soul and touch deep into the heart. It’s a reflection of inner self. It appears simple, but can portray all complexities of life. It has become an important ingredient to keep up the spice in life. It is being used in all the walks of life be it media, entertainment, education or various industries. It helps to relive mental pressure and achieve happiness.

Art gives immense pleasure that can rejuvenate the spirit as it is not only soothing to eyes but also leaves impressions onto the soul. It brings aesthetics into the life, which makes life look more beautiful and cheerful. It takes you closer to truth .i.e. God, and God i.e. beautiful. Above all it is a divine creation.

Painting is a unique arrangement of dots, lines, shapes, forms, colors, harmony, balance, rhythm and thought. It gives forms to ideas. It gives existence to dreams. Its modest notion but enormous expression. More than decoration, paintings can modify the whole doldrums of the space making it more dynamic and fascinating.

Similar to paintings, yet altogether a different form of art, Mural (derived from Latin word ‘Murus’ meaning wall) is 3D representation of ideas using different media like wood, ceramic, plaster of paris, metal, stone, glass etc. It is an integrated part of wall which makes it more energetic and eye catching. It boosts the temper of the ambiance by adding aesthetics to it that gives pleasure.
